Graduates of the program of study in industrial engineering in general has competence in designing, engineering, fabrication, repair and operation of an integral system that consists of human, equipment, materials, energy, and information. Student study load of at least 144 credits and up to 160 credits that can be completed within a period of 8 semesters.
Industrial engineering curriculum is designed and constantly updated to support the needs of the industrial world which is always evolving in accordance with the planned competence. Field of science studies, among others production planning, product design, business planning and management, system modeling, green industry, and computer-based manufacturing.
Graduates of the program of study in industrial engineering can work in the field of production planning (quality control and management, production planning and inventory control), industrial manufacturing (electronics, automotive, metal and non metal), industrial distribution of goods and services (inventory control and warehousing), banking services industry, hospitals, tourism, agriculture and agribusiness industries, textile and garment industry, government (bureaucracy and education), industrial material processing (mining and processing of wood), business and management consultant (design of organizational systems, business processes, systems analysts), research and development (designing products and processes), marketing research, human resource development and entrepreneurship.
