Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the effect of work motivation and work discipline to the performance
of an employee working at the Department of Industry, Trade and Cooperatives (DISPERINDAGKOP)
Manggarai - NTT. The formulation of the problem in this research is How does influence work motivation
and work discipline on employee performance DISPERINDAGKOP Manggarai. Data collection methods
used in this research is by using questionnaires by spreading a list of questions to respondents in order to
obtain information. The data collected was analyzed using data analysis methods used in this research that
Test Validity, Reliability, Multiple Linear Regression, Test of Determination (R2), F test and t-test. Based on
the analysis it can be concluded that: 1) There is a positive and significant relationship between Work
Motivation on Employee Performance. 2) There is a positive and significant relationship between Work
discipline and 3) Testing together using F test showed that motivation and discipline work together to have a
significant effect on performance.
